About the Artist

Ghanem Hassan is a self-taught contemporary artist based in Milan. Born in Lebanon in 1993, he grew up in a context where resilience was a condition of life. Academically trained in finance with two master’s degrees, he chose to leave stability behind to rebuild himself through art.
His work explores displacement, identity, emotional tension, hope, and transformation. Through layered textures and symbolic materials such as gold leaf, diamond powder, and emerald fragments, he reflects on dreams that survive instability, fragile yet enduring.
In 2025, his exhibition What the Silence Carried marked a significant evolution in his material experimentation. In 2026, he presented his 9th solo exhibition, Beyond the Departure, at the European Parliament in Brussels. His work has been exhibited in Milan, New York, London, Hong Kong, Brianza, and Athens, and is featured on Artbridger HongKong.
