From Lebanon to the European Parliament
In collaboration with the Partito Democratico, Ghanem Hassan raised the Lebanese flag during his 9th solo exhibition at the European Parliament in Brussels in February 2026. Centered on the themes of displacement and the resilience required to rebuild life from scratch, the showcase stands as a testament to Hassan’s journey—from arriving in Italy without connections to presenting his work on one of Europe's most prominent political stages.
